Spelling – The weekly spelling packet will be assigned every Monday after a pretest is given. Packets will be due on Thursdays. If students finish their packet early, they may turn it in when completed. A post test will be given on Friday. Please help your child study for these weekly tests.
Math- Homework that reviews the day’s lesson will be assigned daily and due the following day.
Language Arts- Book reports will be assigned monthly, starting in October. Students are encouraged to read at home nightly. To go along with our class novel, students may have weekly homework that involves using the internet. Parents are encouraged to assist their child with the internet projects. The due dates will always be on the first page in the packet.
Grammar – A grammar worksheet will be assigned every Thursday night and is due the following day.
Science/Social Studies – Most work is completed in class however homework may be assigned during the year.
*Please encourage your child to practice math facts nightly. You will see Rocket Math tests come home weekly and your child can explain how to practice or you can go to the district home page under media and watch a video on Rocket Math.
*A more detailed list of assignments will be in documented in your child’s assignment notebook that is filled out daily.
