First and second graders learned how to use the Treasures web site (linked on the right) which ties in to the reading program they use in the classroom. Each week, students can visit the site and do activities that are go along with the story they are reading in their classroom.

There are no projects underway in the labs this week as both are being used for MAP testing. We hope to be open for business by the middle of next week.

MAP Testing and Study Island
First graders continued to practice logging in as well as honing their mouse and keyboard skills. Kid Pix is a very popular program right now but we’ll be moving into our online Treasures reading program when we come back from MAP testing in a couple of weeks.

Learned How To Log In Again!
All students at Tripp school now have individual and unique passwords which will be used to log in to their accounts on the computers as well as Custom Typing, Study Island, First Class, and any other online resources we may use this year. This is a big change for some [...]
