Join Mrs. Murdach and Mr. Funke throughout the year for free technology informational sessions designed to help parents of Tripp students make the most of our available technology and resources.

All sessions are from 6:00 – 7:00 in the Tripp Library and Media Center.

11/30 – Extended Learning With Study Island and BrainPOP and Brainpop Jr.- Learn how we want our students to use 2 exciting web sites both at school and at home to extend their learning experience.

1/10 – Online Research With Alexandria and Britannica Online – Join us along with special guest Mrs. Goldstein to learn how to enhance your child’s research and learning at home with Britannica Online and our library software, Alexandria

2/15 – Learn how Tripp students are using mobile technology in the classroom and get tips and suggestions for learning opportunities at home. This session will focus primarily on Apple devices but Android users are welcome as well.  Some apps are available for both operating systems.

4/10 – Learn how to organize the vast amount information being pushed out on the Internet each week by your child’s teacher and administrators. We will be using Google Reader, a free and easy to use RSS aggregator during this session.
