Where do I go to register?

Early Childhood students must participate in a district screening before enrolling in the Early Childhood Program. Please call Teresa Streen at 847-353-5679 with any questions or to set up an appointment for your child to be screened.

Early Childhood students that have already participated in a screening and will be enrolling in the Early Childhood Program must register at the District Office, 1231 Weiland Rd., Buffalo Grove. Please call Teresa Streen at 847-353-5679 for more information.

Kindergarten - 8th grade students can register at any one of the four school buildings. (To determine which elementary school your child will be attending please check the District Boundary Map.)

What do I need to bring to register?

• Original birth certificate or passport
• Visa if a birth certificate or passport are not available
• Proof of Residency documentation by providing the required number of documents from each category below:

Category I - One (1) document required (must submit original document)

• Most recent property tax bill and proof of payment, e.g., cancelled check or Form 109 (homeowners)
• Mortgage papers (homeowners)
• Signed and dated lease and proof of last month’s payment, e.g., cancelled check or receipt
• Letter of Residence from Landlord in Lieu of Lease and proof of last month’s payment, e.g., cancelled check or receipt (FORM B)

Category II – Three (3) documents showing proper address are required no later than 30 days after registration/enrollment

• Driver’s license/State I.D. (Required as one of the items)
• Vehicle registration
• Voter registration
• Most recent cable television and/or credit card bill
• Current public aid card
• Current homeowners/renters insurance policy premium payment receipt
• Most recent gas, electric, and/or water bill
• Current library card
• Mail received at new residence

Note:  If one exists, you must present a court order, agreement, judgment, or decree that awards or gives custody of the child to any person (including divorce decrees that award custody of the child to one or both parents).
