I am passionate about connecting with others. Building meaningful relationships with students, parents, and teachers is truly my driving force. D102 is my home away from home and the relationships that I have built go far beyond the walls of the buildings.โ€

Tina Schenk has been with D102 since 2000. Mrs. Schenk began as Principal of Tripp in 2018. Prior to that, she served as a third-grade teacher at Tripp Elementary School for nine years and then moved to Pritchett Elementary School where she was the Assistant Principal from 2009-2018. Mrs. Schenk holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Illinois State University, Master of Arts in Teaching and Leadership from St. Xavier University, a Type 75 Administrative Certificate from National Louis University, and LBS1 Special Education Endorsement from the University of St. Francis.

Kevin Locallo began his teaching career as a special education teacher for the 2007-2008 school year.  During the ten years spent teaching special education students, he taught in self-contained as well as co-taught classrooms. During the 2017-2018 school year, he was the MTSS Facilitator at Tripp Elementary School. โ€œIt was a rewarding and positive first year. I made connections with the administration, staff, and most importantly the students. I am happy to be returning to Tripp School for another school year and excited for the opportunity to transition into the role of assistant principal.
