D102’s FACE to FACE Parent Group provides an opportunity to connect with parents who speak another language at home, are fluent in English, and/or want to practice speaking English.

Fostering A Cultural Exchange (FACE) to Facilitate A Conversation in English (FACE)

Are you interested in meeting other parents in District 102? Would you like to have fun while learning about others’ cultures? District 102’s BPAC (Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee) would like to invite you to participate in an ongoing social parent group. We are seeking two groups of parents who are interested in making unique connections in the district!

• Parents interested in learning and practicing the English language through social opportunities with other English-speaking parents

• Fluent English speakers who would like to participate in cultural experiences while connecting with our families who are acquiring English

Each session will be comprised of a cultural learning experience as well as a structured time to converse with other parents in English. If interested, contact David Castaneda at dcastaneda@d102.org.
