See and hear how teachers use modern instructional design, such as readers workshop, to provide opportunities for all students to access and experience rigorous work that challenges thinking in new and interesting ways. Not only are students engaged in learning and pursuing personal interests, but they are also partners in identifying their own strengths and setting goals to challenge individual growth. Students are falling in love with reading while simultaneously learning reading strategies. They practice the strategies, delve deeper into personal interests, discuss or present what they read, and reflect upon and set goals.
